NOISE POLLUTION Residents had raised concerns that the possibility of a gym and a new restaurant would generate noise which would disturb neighbours, particularly late in the evening. |
GMG understands that neighbouring residential properties will have concerns about this. To ensure there is no impact on those who live close by, GMG will include shutters in the design for the gym, restaurant and bike storage windows in order to mitigate any noise pollution and shield neighbouring properties. GMG will also include details in the tenant handbook to clarify that the Artillery Mansions roadway to the east elevation is private land and there should be no access for taxi pick-up or deliveries. In addition, the current proposals have been designed to ensure that noise pollution is mitigated and this will be secured by a planning condition. |
